Good year to hate lettuce
I have three strong cues that I am successfully taking a vacation:
no alarms set
no smart devices on my person; especially not one that doubles as a “fitness” tracker
not connected to the work VPN.
A holy grail vacation day is when all three of those conditions are true at the same time. I aim for a week’s worth of those days every year.
I write this out because it seems both silly (what small things! and just a week?) - and enormous (sleeping in? no emails? but my rings?).
