I say I, too, am a romantic,

As part of my “force myself to make decisions” strategy, I am two days into a longish-temporary-stay and being confronted with the reality of housemates for the first time in 12 years. (Product aside: if you work at AirBnB, please show the working of why there’s no annotation of / filter for when a listing is part of a house that includes x other potential rooms at y max occupants each).

(Personal aside: of course I went for an en-suite bathroom, I’m not 22 anymore).

This weekend I watched Booksmart, a surprising, funny, charming movie with a superb soundtrack. I’ve been trying to find a cinema near me showing Fast Color, because I have become increasingly intentional about supporting the work I want (more of) in the world.

What did I do today to reduce harm is now a question with which I start my “nightly pages” (thank you RAH for this riff on morning pages). At some point we decide what we stand for, and who with.
