There are so many roots to the tree of anger
If a man shouts ‘white power’ in a video and you retweet that video and then you delete it hours later and then the people whose job it is to defend and explain your every move say you didn’t hear those words, will media organizations go for “controversial” or “racially charged” in the headline?
If you ran a team, or an org, or a company and you watched as all the brown and black folks left and then you appear on panels as an advocate for diversity or are quoted as saying you’d planned to hire some non-white non-men before all the money ran out, do you also think you have black friends?
If you’re angry that people aren’t wearing masks and you’re rage tweeting from your second home in the town with limited hospital capacity that you escaped to because you didn’t want to be stuck in the city, what are the odds you’re also trying to book your next haircut or manicure?
If you are angry about ‘Karen’ jokes and your name is not Karen, how many times did you mix up the two black or Asian people who worked in your office?
