check titers / re-up on shots against mumps, measles, rubella
tell people the HPV vaccine a) saves lives b) is recommended for folks ages 9 - 45
know who your people are, and know who consider you to be theirs
know what your lines are and how you will know if you cross them
be intolerant of time-grifters
if it sounds too good to be true, check. if it sounds too awful to be real, check. if it sounds exactly as plausible as everything else has, check
support artists and not just “the arts”
preserve the media you want to continue to watch / read / listen to
pay for the media you want to continue to watch / read / listen to
find out who’s doing the most useful work locally and give them slightly more than you feel like you can afford
make time for downtime
learn something new with new people
reuse more than you recycle
